Everest, the highest peak in the world, is the symbol of Nepal, Kilimanjaro is the symbol of Africa, and Damavand Peak is the hallmark of Iran.

The climbers also raised a flag with the Kun.uz website logo to the summit.

The dormant volcano is located in the south of the Mazandaran region. The peak’s height is 5,610 meters above sea level. It is the highest point not only in Iran, but also in the Middle East.

Damavand, the tallest volcano in Asia, is included in the climbers’ 7 Volcanoes collection goal, which includes the tallest volcanoes on seven continents.

“The snow-capped peak of Damavand, “supporting the sky”, is visible at a distance of tens of kilometers. The last volcanic eruption occurred 7 thousand years ago. Currently, the upper part of its slopes is covered with eternal glaciers, and streams of hot hydrogen sulfide gases emerge near the peak,” the Uzbek climbers, who hit the peak, said.
