Registration of IMEI numbers now to be carried out through Face-ID control

By the decision of the government, a number of conveniences are being created for individuals and foreign citizens in the process of registering their mobile devices.

In particular, remote (online) biometric identification (Face-ID) is being introduced when registering phones in the UZIMEI system.

Reportedly, it prevents the abuse of the personal data of citizens by others.

With the help of this technology, an individual registers his mobile devices online using his biometric data.

Using the system, a person will be able to register UZIMEI codes through the official website uzimei.uz, the Single Portal for Interactive Public Services (my.gov.uz), and its mobile application, as well as by contacting the system registrars directly with their biometric identification.
