The Agency for Strategic Reforms has prepared several proposals for the economic development of the city of Almalyk.

One potential growth point could be a new industrial technopark. The agency proposes allocating a vacant plot of land covering 227.4 hectares in the "Hilol" neighborhood for the construction of the complex.

The technopark is planned to house 35 facilities for the production of building materials, household appliances, and other goods. According to the agency's calculations, the project will attract over $1 billion in investments and create 8,000 jobs.

The enterprises in the technopark will be able to export industrial products worth about $350 million annually. Their launch will attract up to 60 billion UZS in additional revenue to the local budget.

Additionally, the agency proposed the creation of an international logistics center in the "Hilol" neighborhood. This will simplify the supply of local products to domestic and foreign markets, create up to 200 jobs, and bring 15 billion UZS to the budget.

Furthermore, in the "Buston" neighborhood, it is proposed to create a small industrial zone on 33.8 hectares of free land, with potential investments of about $250 million. The facility will provide jobs for 1,800 people and bring another 15 billion UZS to the local budget.

Another proposal includes the construction of new kindergartens with 180 places in the "Dustlik" neighborhood and 200 in the "Oltin" neighborhood. These will replace existing institutions with 60 and 75 places, respectively, and increase preschool education coverage to 80%.
