Gasoline volume offered at the exchange to be doubled
Due to restrictions on the operation of gas stations in certain regions, the volume of gasoline available at the exchange will be temporarily increased by twofold.
According to the Ministry of Energy, sufficient reserves have been established in all regions to meet this increase.
It has also been announced that there is potential to further raise the volume of gasoline offered at the exchange depending on market demand and supply.
The issue of fully meeting consumer demand for gasoline has been placed under state supervision.
The Ministry emphasized that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure a continuous and adequate supply of gasoline to the population throughout the current autumn-winter season.
Furthermore, the Ministry has urged private gas station owners not to artificially inflate prices and to ensure proper sale of gasoline in terms of quality and quantity.
Currently, on-site monitoring measures are being conducted by working groups. It was stated that unjustified price hikes will not be tolerated.
Earlier, it was reported that restrictions had been imposed on the operation of methane gas stations in Uzbekistan.
