Rental prices in Tashkent dropped slightly in November

Rental prices for moderately renovated apartments in Tashkent decreased by 1.3% in November 2024 compared to October, according to an analysis conducted by specialists from the Institute for Macroeconomic and Regional Studies.

The report highlights that while the cost of renting fully renovated apartments remained relatively stable, the decline in prices was more noticeable for moderately renovated properties.

Changes in average rental prices

In November, the average rental prices for moderately renovated apartments experienced the following changes:

  • One-room apartments: decreased by 0.9%.
  • Two-room apartments: decreased by 1.3%.
  • Four-room apartments: decreased by 3.9%.
  • Three-room apartments: slightly increased by 0.8%.

The most affordable rental prices for moderately renovated apartments were found in the Sergeli and Olmazor districts, where one-room units cost $298 and $330, respectively. Meanwhile, the highest prices were recorded in Mirabad ($378 for one-room) and Yakkasaroy ($367 for one-room).

Fully renovated apartments: Minimal changes

For fully renovated apartments, prices remained largely unchanged for two-room ($559) and three-room ($733) units. However, slight variations were noted:

  • One-room apartments: increased by 0.6%.
  • Four-room apartments: decreased by 0.9%.

Sergeli and Uchtepa offered the most affordable options for fully renovated apartments, with prices for one-room units at $331 and $353, respectively. On the other hand, Mirabad and Shaykhontohur districts topped the list for the most expensive rentals, with one-room apartments costing $479 and $520, respectively.
