Tax Committee names Uzbekistan’s largest taxpayers for 2024
The Tax Committee of Uzbekistan has released its annual report on tax revenues for 2024, highlighting the major contributors to the state budget. A total of 949 large enterprises contributed 123.3 trillion UZS, with the top 20 companies accounting for approximately 64% of the total.
Top state-owned taxpayers
The top 10 state-owned companies collectively paid more than 70 trillion UZS in taxes, led by:
- Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine (NMMC) – 35.4 trillion UZS
- Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (AMMC) – 10.8 trillion UZS
- Navoiyuran – 4.6 trillion UZS
- Uzbekneftegaz – 4.2 trillion UZS
- Hududgaztaminot – 4 trillion UZS
- UzGasTrade – 3.9 trillion UZS
- UzAuto Motors – 3.4 trillion UZS
- Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex – 1.4 trillion UZS
- National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU) – 1.4 trillion UZS
- Uzbektelecom – 1.1 trillion UZS
Top private taxpayers
The top 10 private companies contributed 8.6 trillion UZS, with the leaders being:
- UzBAT – 2.9 trillion UZS
- Tashkent Tobacco – 1 trillion UZS
- GID License Plate – 845.9 billion UZS
- Enter Engineering – 844.4 billion UZS
- Coca-Cola Uzbekistan – 634.2 billion UZS
- Kapitalbank – 610.3 billion UZS
- Unitel (Beeline) – 576.6 billion UZS
- Hamkorbank – 539.9 billion UZS
- International Beverages (PepsiCo) – 342.8 billion UZS
- ADM Jizzakh – 336 billion UZS
Tax revenue growth in 2024
Tax revenues in Uzbekistan grew by 20.3%, reaching almost 200 trillion UZS. Notable increases were observed in:
- Corporate profit taxes (+29.1%)
- Property taxes (+33.5%)
- Subsoil use taxes (+31.8%)
- Water resource taxes (+48.3%)
