Mother of two returns from work in Russia and reunites with children as Navoi entrepreneur gifts them apartment
Mukaddas Ganieva, a resident of Fergana city, found herself in a dire situation after her marriage ended. Unable to remain in her parents’ home, she left her 6-year-old son Azizbek and 2.5-year-old daughter Imronakhon with a nanny and went to Russia to work. Tragically, the nanny abused the young girl, leaving her with severe and life-threatening injuries. This heartbreaking case was initially reported by Kun.uz, which highlighted the family's plight.
Following the publication of the story, the lives of Mukaddas and her children underwent a complete transformation. Thanks to the generous intervention of a kind-hearted entrepreneur from Navoi, the family now has a new home in Fergana.
Support poured in from people who were moved by the family’s ordeal. Many brought toys, clothes, and money for the children. Most importantly, Mukaddas returned home from Russia, reuniting with her children. The family’s biggest challenge — homelessness — was resolved when the entrepreneur purchased a newly renovated house for them.
The same entrepreneur also paid off Mukaddas’s debts in Russia and even bought her plane tickets to return to Uzbekistan.
On January 12, Mukaddas Ganieva officially received the keys to her new home after flying back to Uzbekistan. Azizbek and Imronakhon, who had been staying in a temporary residence, were finally reunited with their mother. Azizbek, who had always wished for a warm home, plenty of toys, and, most importantly, his mother by his side, couldn’t contain his joy.
Meanwhile, the Fergana City Department of Internal Affairs has launched a criminal case against the abusive nanny, and investigative actions are ongoing.
