Changes introduced to the order of registration in Tashkent city and Tashkent region
The Ministry of Justice registered changes and additions made to the Instruction on the procedure for permanent and temporary registration of foreign citizens and stateless persons in Tashkent city and Tashkent region.
In accordance with the changes made, personal presence does not require notarization of the application-consent of the proprietor for provision of the living space attached to the application for obtaining a permit for permanent residence in Tashkent city and Tashkent region by foreign citizens and stateless persons.
In addition, a notarization of documents for housing attached to the application is not required for obtaining a permanent residence permit for foreign citizens and stateless persons holding a residence permit, as well as arriving from other regions of the country.
An interesting fact is that according to the changes, in case of refusal in the permanent residence, the applicant must leave the territory of Tashkent city and Tashkent region within three days.
Except for the following cases:
- when purchasing housing;
- in the presence of close relatives (spouses, parents, children);
- in the presence of guardians (trustees);
- when engaged in working activities, training in educational institutions;
- during treatment in medical institutions.
