New oil and gas field discovered in Uzbekistan
A new oil and gas condensate field – Bohoriston has been discovered in Uzbekistan. This was reported on the official website of Epsilon, which conducts work on the Mubarek investment block.
The exploratory well drilling at the field began on June 2, 2019. And just a few months later, the search yielded first results. When testing the well, an inflow of oil, condensate and natural gas was obtained with a flow rate of 100 thousand cubic meters per day.
“The received inflow of hydrocarbons and geological data testifies to the discovery of a new oil and gas condensate field – Bohoriston,” the statement reads.
The company continues exploratory work in the field. It has begun construction of a new 9.7-kilometer gas pipeline to transport gas to the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant.
