New deputy khokims of Surkhandarya region appointed

On September 19, a meeting of activists was held in the regional administration of Surkhandarya, where new deputy khokims of the region were appointed, the press service of the regional administration reported.

Chori Begimkulov was appointed deputy khokim of the Surkhandarya region on issues of youth policy, social development and spiritual education. Prior to his appointment, Begimkulov was director of the Termez branch of Tashkent State Agrarian University.

In addition, Kholmamat Samatov was appointed deputy khokim of the Surkhandarya region on issues of agriculture and water management. He previously held the post of deputy khokim of the Kumkurgan district.

Earlier, it was reported that Rakhmatulla Gapparov was appointed khokim of the Kumkurgan district and Askarali Jurayev – khokim of the Baysun district.
