President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow arrives in Tashkent

At the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow has arrived in Uzbekistan on a working visit, UzA said.

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov met the distinguished guest at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

Following the solemn ceremony at the airport, the delegation of Turkmenistan left for the residence allocated for them.

Today, the heads of state will discuss prospects for further development of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation.

The sides are expected to exchange views on implementation of joint projects in trade-economic, transport-communication, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as on the current issues of the regional and international agenda.

It should be noted that within the framework of his visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow will attend the second consultative meeting of the CA heads of state in Tashkent.
