Uzbekistan temporarily suspends replacing old driver’s licenses with new ones
The suspension is associated with technical and preventive work in the electronic system of the main traffic safety department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Information on the resumption of work will be provided additionally, the State Services Agency said.
It should be recalled that at the end of September, at the initiative of the State Services Agency, a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers was developed, providing for the extension of the term for replacing old driver's licenses with new ones.
According to the current procedure, the deadline for replacing old driver’s licenses with new ones is December 31, 2021. From January 1, 2022, the old driver’s license will be invalidated.
