New khokims appointed in four districts of Uzbekistan

In particular, an extraordinary session of the Bulungur district council of people’s deputies took place. At the session, in which the regional khokim of Samarkand took part, an organizational issue was considered.

Bakhodir Bakhromov, who headed the Bulungur district since August 2017, was relieved of his post due to his transfer to another job.

Samandar Astanov, who previously held the post of deputy prosecutor of the Samarkand region, has been appointed khokim of the Bulungur district.

Khokim of Akdarya distirct Najmiddin Sulaymonov was also released from the position he held in connection with his transfer to another job. Sherzod Kudratov became the new khokim.

Prior to his appointment to this position, he worked as the head of the Samarkand regional department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In addition, Umedjon Barnoyev appointed khokim of the Romitan district. The khokim of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov took part in the session, during which an organizational issue was considered.

Khurshid Tokhirov, who held the post of khokim of the Romitan district, due to his transfer to another job, was relieved of his post at his own request.

Deputies of the regional council approved the candidacy of Umedjon Barnoyev for the post of district khokim.

In the Namangan region, Dilmurod Kadirov became khokim of the Kasansay district. Previously, he was head of the Naryn district.
