Uzbekistan produced 216,000 cars over 9 months

A total of 216,380 passenger cars were produced in Uzbekistan in January-September, the volume of production increased by 77,252 compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the State Statistics Committee reports.

Among passenger cars, the Cobalt (69,816 units), Gentra (64,074 units) and Damas (52,673 units) models saw a very high increase in production volume. In particular, in 9 months of this year, about 69,816 units of Cobalt were produced, and the volume of production increased by 61.2% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

Also, in January-September, a total of 64,074 units of Gentra and 52,673 units of Damas were produced, the volume of production increased by 2.1 times and 24.2%, respectively, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

In addition, 17,735 units of Nexia-3 (7.6%), 11,119 units of Spark (61.2%) and 540 units of Tracker cars were produced.
