Uzbek soum among top 10 weakest currencies in the world
Forbes Advisor has analyzed the weakest currencies, based on the number of units of foreign currency received in exchange for one US dollar.
According to them, the Uzbek soum is the seventh weakest currency in the world with 1 soum buying 0.000087 dollars or $1 equals 11,516 Uzbekistani soum (based on data from Open Exchange as at the time of writing).
The weakest currency in the world is the Iranian rial, with 1 rial buying just 0.000024 US dollars.
The top three also include the Vietnamese dong ($1 equals 23,711 Vietnamese dongs) and the Lao kip ($1 equals 19,072 Lao kips).
