Uzbekistan may start exporting agricultural products to Saudi Arabia
A delegation of business representatives headed by the chairman of the Federation for Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry will visit Uzbekistan.
Uzbek diplomats in Riyadh held talks with the Director of Regional and International Relations of the Federation for Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Saudi Arabia Khalil al-Afra.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of exporting agricultural products of Uzbekistan to the Saudi Arabian market, intensifying cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries, and establishing an exchange of visits.
Khalil al-Afra noted that the relations between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia have reached a new level in the last six years. It was noted that the political will of the leaders of the two countries and the common desire to further develop mutual relations play an important role.
During the dialogue, the sides paid special attention to the issues of forming a working group consisting of representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to organize a visit to Uzbekistan by a delegation of businessmen headed by the chairman of the Federation for Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Saudi Arabia.
