Legal basis of Uzbek-Qatari cooperation discussed in Doha

The delegation of Uzbekistan was headed by the head of the Treaty and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Komil Rashidov, the delegation of Qatar was headed by the director of the Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Sultan bin Laram.

At the meeting, issues of improving the legal framework of bilateral cooperation, promising areas of interaction, as well as bilateral documents of practical importance were discussed.

The parties focused on the implementation of the agreements reached on June 5-6, 2023 during the high-level visit to the city of Samarkand, and also exchanged information on the parties’ implementation of internal procedures for the entry into force of signed international treaties.

The event was held in a friendly atmosphere.

Yesterday, consultations took place in Doha between the competent departments of the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Qatar.
