Shavkat Mirziyoyev expected to visit Kyrgyzstan
On October 13, Bishkek will host the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State.
Leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will discuss issues of cooperation expansion in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
At the meeting, important decisions aimed at expanding and strengthening cooperation between the member states of the Commonwealth in the trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres will be made, Kabar news agency writes with reference to Muratbek Azimbakiev, head of the foreign policy department of Kyrgyz President’s administration.
This year, Kyrgyzstan is chairing the bodies of the CIS. There are four statutory bodies in the Commonwealth, the most important of which is the Council of Heads of State.
In accordance with the agenda for 2023, Bishkek will host the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers on October 12 and the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government on October 26.
