Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan sign a memorandum on military cooperation
On October 19, the Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Kurbonov received the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Zakir Gasanov in the city of Bukhara, the press service of the Ministry informed Gazeta.uz.
The ministers went to the Bukhara training ground, where an official welcoming ceremony was held for the military delegation.
Congratulating his colleague, Bakhodir Kurbonov noted that the bilateral defense cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan will serve to strengthen the armies of the two countries.
At the meeting, views were exchanged on the prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the military, military-technical, and military-educational spheres, as well as the organization of regular mutual visits of delegations of experts from the two countries.
Following the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum on military cooperation for 2024.
