Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Samarkand to hold talks with Emmanuel Macron
The presidents of the two countries will participate in the Uzbekistan-France summit.
Today, November 1, the President of France Emmanuel Macron will arrive in Uzbekistan on an official visit.
To welcome the French leader and take part in the Uzbekistan-France summit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Samarkand.
According to the presidential press service, the sides will hold bilateral negotiations and discuss further strengthening relations.
Currently, Macron is in Kazakhstan. He met with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and considered issues aimed at consolidating cooperation ties.
Earlier, Bloomberg wrote that the main reason for the French president’s visit to the two Central Asian countries is to discuss uranium import from them.
