Qatari company Power International Holding to open a representative office in Uzbekistan
The company is planning to launch the production of ammonia and urea in the Navoi region.
The Qatari company Power International Holding will open an office in Uzbekistan this month.
At the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Doha, negotiations were held with the Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of Power International Holding, Maurice Ghattas, and the head of UCC Holding, which is part of this company, Muhammad Sabri. The parties discussed the implementation of agreements reached during the October visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Qatar.
Power International Holding is expected to participate in the construction of roads, a multi-network hospital complex, hotels in Bukhara, Samarkand, and Tashkent, and in the implementation of projects in the field of “green” energy.
The Qatari company is also considering launching the production of ammonia and urea in the Navoi region.
On October 1, President Mirziyoyev met in Doha with the Board Chairman of Power International Holding, Moutaz al-Khayyat. Now the Qatari holding is building a modern livestock cluster in the Jizzakh region.
