Criminal case initiated against officials of a boarding house in Andijan

There were reports on social networks that M.M., the former director of the boarding house for children with disabilities in Kurgantepa “Muruvvat”, robbed more than 4 billion soums. The press service of the regional prosecutor’s office made an official statement about this case.

It was found that during the construction of the “Muruvvat” boarding house for children with disabilities, a total of 1 billion 74 million soums of budget funds were looted. As a result, the regional prosecutor’s office initiated a criminal case against the officials of the boarding house and the organizations that implemented this construction under Article 167, Part 3, Paragraph “a” and other Articles of the Criminal Code.

Currently, the Kurgantepa district prosecutor’s office is investigating this criminal case. The regional prosecutor’s office has established control over the investigation of the criminal case, the report reads.
