Governor of Izbaskan district dismissed
Serobiddin Ismailov, who has held the post of governor of the Izbaskan district (Andijan region) since 2018, has been fired. His first deputy, Khodjiakbar Umarov, became the acting governor.
Yesterday, December 10, a session was held in the Izbaskan district of Andijan region, chaired by Deputy Advisor to the President and the regional governor Shukhrat Abdurakhmonov.
According to the regional administration, the session considered the issue of dismissing Serobiddin Ismailov, who held the post of district governor. With the approval of deputies, the district governor was relieved of his post.
The temporary performance of the duties of the district governor is entrusted to Khodjiakbar Umarov, who currently holds the position of first deputy governor of the district.
Serobiddin Ismailov has headed the Izbaskan district since 2018.
