Restriction on CNG filling stations to be canceled
The operation of CNG filling stations in Tashkent city and 5 regions is expected to be restored in a short time. Earlier, due to anomalous cold weather, the working hours of methane stations were restricted due to the decrease in gas pressure.
Preparatory work is being carried out in order to restore the operation of gas stations in the city of Tashkent and five regions with restrictions in a short period of time, the press service of Khududgaztaminot reported.
“At the same time, preparatory work is being carried out in order to restore the activity of the CNG filling stations in the capital, Samarkand, Tashkent, Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions in a short period of time,” the report reads.
It is noted that Khududgaztaminot is currently taking all necessary measures for equal distribution of natural gas and uniform delivery to consumers. Natural gas is being supplied in full, and there is no shortage. But due to the increased consumption in some places, the gas pressure is decreasing and complaints are coming from the consumers.
In the areas where problems have been observed, all the necessary work is being continued by industry experts to improve the gas supply. On December 13, 2023, gas supply organizations delivered 113.5 million cubic meters of natural gas to the population and wholesale consumers. In addition, 2223 tons of fuel were delivered to liquefied gas consumers.
Earlier, on December 13, additional restrictions were imposed on the activities of public utilities in Tashkent city, Samarkand, Tashkent, Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions in order to prevent disruptions to consumers. Khududgaztaminot informed that currently 547 out of 1,179 CNG filling stations are working according to the established schedule.
