Tashkent hosts next round of political consultations between foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan
On December 21, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, Bakhtiyor Saidov and Jeenbek Kulubaev, chaired the next round of bilateral political consultations.
“Today, together with my dear colleague, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev, we held the next round of political consultations,” Bakhtiyor Saidov wrote in his Telegram channel.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for their further development.
“We emphasized the broad and dynamically expanding agenda of a comprehensive strategic partnership between our countries. Particular attention was paid to the schedule of upcoming events at the highest level, expanding the legal framework for cooperation, intensifying trade, economic and investment ties, implementing new joint industrial and infrastructure projects, strengthening interregional contacts and interaction within international organizations,” Saidov said.
