LOT Polish Airlines will operate 4 flights per week on Warsaw-Tashkent route in April-June 2024.
Uzbek diplomats met in Poland with the President and CEO of LOT Polish Airlines Michał Fijoł.
At the meeting, the Polish side noted that they would launch regular direct flights between Warsaw and Tashkent in March 2024.
Michał Fijoł said that following his summer trip to Uzbekistan, he established fruitful cooperation with representatives of the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Agency, Uzbekistan Airports JSC, and Uzbekistan Airways JSC.
He stressed that on the first flight to Uzbekistan, there will be the Polish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, representatives of parliament, and other officials on board.
Michał Fijoł noted that in 2024, given the high demand for flights on the Warsaw-Tashkent route, flights will be operated 4 times a week in April-June. He said he expects passenger traffic to be around 40 thousand a year.
