Tashkent cameras imposed 175 fines on cars parked on bus lanes in a day
On December 24, 5 cameras installed on Amir Temur and Alisher Navoi streets of Tashkent issued fines to 175 drivers who stopped on special A lanes.
In Tashkent, cameras imposed 175 fines on cars parked on bus lanes in one day, Tashshakhartranskhizmat reported.
In October-November of this year, in cooperation with the MIA “Safe City” center, the traffic safety service of Tashkent city, the Interagency operative staff and the specialists of Toshshakhartranskhizmat JSC, 30 of the intelligent video surveillance cameras that detect stopping and parking violations on streets with high traffic in Tashkent, on the special A lanes reserved for bus traffic, have been installed in the facilities.
Currently, 5 of these 30 intelligent video surveillance cameras installed on Amir Temur and Alisher Navoi streets are fully operational.
On December 24, 2023, a fine of 680,000 soums was imposed on 175 drivers who violated the rules of stopping and parking on these streets, according to Article 128-6 of the Criminal Code.
For information, according to the traffic rules, the reserved lane can be accessed only by turning right (from the place of the designated dotted white lane), as well as for picking up and dropping off passengers, if it does not interfere with the movement of public transport.
