Body of a 32-year-old Uzbek citizen found in India’s resort hotel

According to the preliminary version, the cause of death could be carbon monoxide poisoning.

In one of the resort hotels in the city of Sonipat in Haryana (India) on Monday, January 22, the body of a citizen of Uzbekistan was discovered, Kun.uz correspondent reports referring to the embassy of the republic in Delhi.

According to preliminary data, 32-year-old resident of the Fergana region M.A. was poisoned by carbon monoxide. Currently, operative-investigative work and a medical examination are being carried out to determine the causes of the incident.

Along with this, measures are being taken to send the body of her compatriot to Uzbekistan in a short time.

According to Indian media reports, a native of Delhi also died along with the victim from Uzbekistan. Their bodies were found in the same room by hotel staff.
