During the talks, the parties focused on the prospect of supplying Uzbekistan with six high-speed electric trains from the South Korean manufacturer. The procurement of these trains has been outlined in a resolution by the head of Uzbekistan dated October 10, 2023, which details measures for the radical transformation of the country's railway transport sector. The introduction of high-speed trains is expected to improve the overall railway transportation in Uzbekistan, particularly enhancing connectivity between Tashkent and historical cities like Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, thus facilitating convenience for both residents and tourists.

Hyundai ROTEM showcased its readiness to contribute to Uzbekistan's social sphere by pledging to provide computers and smart boards to educational institutions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. This commitment aligns with supporting Uzbekistan's reforms in primary and secondary specialized education. The equipment and materials are scheduled to be delivered to the Republic of Karakalpakstan in May.

The meeting also reaffirmed that a Hyundai ROTEM delegation is planning a visit to Uzbekistan to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum slated for May 2-3, aiming to explore investment opportunities in the country and discuss new cooperative ventures.

A consensus was reached on specific measures aimed at deepening the collaborative efforts between the two nations, setting the stage for a strengthened partnership in the railway transport domain.
