20-year-old Indian student dies in Bukhara, prosecutor’s office investigating the case
According to the initial diagnosis, the cause of the student’s death was acute respiratory failure.
An Indian student of the Bukhara State Medical Institute died, the press service of the institute reported.
According to preliminary information, Navas Nasmel, born in 2003, a second-year student of the institute, fell ill in his room in the student residence on February 28 and an ambulance was called.
The student was immediately taken to the Bukhara regional infectious disease hospital. Navas Nasmel died despite the necessary medical care and treatment.
According to the initial diagnosis, the deceased died of acute respiratory failure caused by total pneumonia of bilateral lungs.
The administration of the institute notified the Embassy of India in our country and the relatives of the student.
Currently, the Bukhara city prosecutor’s office is investigating the case.
