Drug traffickers attempting to smuggle 2 kg of hashish into the republic detained in Tashkent region
At the “Oybek” border customs post, it was found out that during the customs inspection of a cargo vehicle that came from a neighboring country, 2 polyethylene wraps were magnetically attached to the trailer.
At the “Oybek” border customs post of the Tashkent region customs department, in cooperation with customs officers and military personnel of the border troops of the Republic of Tajikistan, a cargo vehicle that entered from a neighboring country was subjected to customs inspection.
According to the report of the Customs Committee, during the inspection, it was identified that 2 pieces of polyethylene wrap were glued under the trailer by means of a magnet.
When these packages were opened in the presence of impartial parties, it was found out that they contained 1 kg 981 grams of hashish.
Currently, the customs authorities are conducting an investigation.
