Courier companies delivered goods in the name of 568 deceased persons
When the goods brought in their names without the permission of citizens were studied, it was found out that 568 of these citizens were deceased persons.
Goods were brought in the name of 568 persons who died in Uzbekistan.
According to the UzA information, as a result of the use of personal data of citizens by some courier organizations without their permission, goods were delivered in the name of more than 200 citizens in 4 cases this year.
Goods worth 1.4 billion soums were temporarily stored, and criminal cases were initiated against the couriers.
Also, during the year 2021, when the goods brought in the name of the citizens without their permission were studied, it was identified that 568 of these citizens have passed away.
