Methane gas prices remain stable with extension of price controls
Starting April 1, the maximum retail price of gas at methane filling stations will be 3,350 UZS.
The press service of the Ministry of Energy reports that the Cabinet of Ministers' decision extends the period for the highest established retail price of methane gas.
It has now been announced that the maximum retail price for natural gas sold at automobile gas compressor stations will be set at 3,350 UZS per cubic meter until June 1, 2024.
This means that the maximum retail price, which was supposed to end on April 1, will continue for another two months with a slight adjustment (the previous price was 3,250 UZS per cubic meter).
Previously, there had been announcements on social networks about a price increase for methane gas at certain gas filling stations in Tashkent starting April 1, with a cubic meter of gas reported to be priced at 3,800 UZS.
