Novosibirsk hosted Uzbekistan Culture Days
The House of Scientists in Novosibirsk hosted the Days of Culture of Uzbekistan, organized by the Consulate General of our country in this city.
The event was attended by representatives of the government of the Novosibirsk Oblast, the public and compatriots temporarily living in this region of Russia.
Welcoming the guests, Uzbek diplomats spoke about the rich historical heritage of Uzbekistan, its modern development, large-scale reforms in the field of culture and art, as well as strengthening cultural ties with foreign countries.
Galina Lozovaya, director of the Novosibirsk House of Scientists, who spoke at the event, emphasized that holding the Days of Culture of Uzbekistan in Russia has become a good tradition, and representatives of Uzbek culture and art regularly participate in cultural forums organized in Novosibirsk. In turn, tours of Russian theaters, cinema, art and musical groups are of great interest to Uzbek citizens.
As part of the event, an exhibition of the famous artist Dilorom Mamedova was organized. Her works, reflecting national traditions and customs, aroused great interest among Russian guests.
The event featured a presentation of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, as well as the wide opportunities created for youth.
