Uzbekistan Airways resumes flights between Tashkent and Mumbai
The flights will be operated twice a week — on Mondays and Saturdays.
After a four-year hiatus, Uzbekistan Airways has relaunched its air service on the Tashkent-Mumbai route, according to the airline's press service.
The first flight took place on April 1. Flights between the cities will be carried out twice a week — on Mondays and Saturdays, according to the following schedule:
- Departure from Tashkent at 8:50, arrival in Mumbai at 13:40;
- Departure from Mumbai at 15:05, arrival in Tashkent at 18:35.
Ticket prices start from 1,824,654 UZS one-way, and round-trip tickets start from 3,635,184 UZS. These prices are valid as of the time of publication.
The national carrier launched flights to Mumbai in the autumn of 2018, with three flights a week. The flights were suspended in the spring of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in April 2021, the airline decided to close the route due to lack of profitability.
Since March 31, the company has also resumed flights from Tashkent to Rome. Flights are operated weekly on Sundays.
