Young man who sexually harassed a woman in Tashkent metro sentenced to 5-day imprisonment

According to the document, on the afternoon of April 1, A.N., riding in the metro along the Chilanzar line, began touching an unfamiliar woman on the lower back and below. The victim asked the court to impose a strict punishment on him.

A.N. fully admitted his guilt and stated that he regretted what he had done and this would not happen again. He asked the court to reduce the sentence.

The court sentenced the guy to 5 days of arrest, finding him guilty of committing an offense under Part 1 of Article 41-1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code (sexual harassment).

The culprit must also pay 255 thousand soums for food in a special detention center of the Tashkent city DIA.
