Young man from Uzbekistan shoots his friend to death in Istanbul

In Turkey, a young man from Uzbekistan shot his comrade with a pistol, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul reported.

As it became known, on April 9, 2024, two citizens of Uzbekistan who came to work in the Fatikh area in Istanbul wanted to record a video with a gun and publish it on Instagram.

During filming, 22-year-old S.G. was shot dead by his roommate and comrade U.R. The shot hit the victim in the head, and he died at the scene.

According to the testimony of U.R., his comrades S.G. wanted to record a video with a gun. U.R., thinking that the gun was not charged, shot S.G. in the head.

According to the Consulate, work is currently underway to send the body of the deceased young man to Uzbekistan.
