Schoolteacher in Fergana beaten by relatives of a student in principal’s office
Earlier, the regional police department reported that the teacher was beaten by a man due to a disagreement. Currently, a criminal case has been opened regarding this fact.
The news spread on social networks that a school teacher from the Toshlok district of Fergana region was beaten by the student’s relatives.
According to the report of the Fergana regional DIA, on April 1, 2024, there was a quarrel between citizen M.O., a teacher of school No. 25, located in the “Sadda” mahalla of Toshlok district, and citizen A.Kh. As a result, A.Kh. beat up M.O.
“Currently, a forensic medical examination has been ordered to establish the severity of M.O.’s injuries, and a pre-investigation check is underway. The regional police department took control of the situation,” the statement said.
However, the PGO press secretary, Khayot Shamsutdinov, told Kun.uz that not one, but two people beat the teacher in the principal’s office.
According to the prosecutor’s office, on April 1, in the office of the school principal, two relatives of 9th grade student S.Kh., 20 and 24 years old, beat up the history teacher of school No. 25 of the Toshlok district M.O., shouting at him: “why did you beat our nephew”.
The teacher went to the central district hospital, he was given first aid and hospitalized.
The conclusion of the forensic medical examination dated April 2 established that the teacher M.O. had closed craniocerebral injury, concussion, laceration of the outer corner of the left eyebrow, bruise of the soft tissues of the back, left shoulder and elbow areas. It has been confirmed that bodily injuries fall into the category of injuries that cause deterioration in health for a short period of time – more than 6 days, but not more than 21 days.
Also, scratches were found on the neck of student S.Kh.
It is noted that a criminal case has been initiated into the incident under Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code (Intentional minor bodily injury).
