Criminals detained for attempting to sell pasture in Tashkent region for $70,000
It was established that the brokers intended to commit an illegal business through 3 persons holding the positions of deputy head of department, head of department and chief specialist in the Tashkent regional agriculture department. They were also detained.
State Security Service officers suppressed cases of illegal sale of land plots in the Tashkent and Bukhara regions.
During an operative event carried out in the Urtachirchik district of Tashkent region, two brokers were detained with material evidence while receiving $70,000. They promised a citizen who wanted to engage in livestock farming to obtain lease rights for a period of 30 years on a pasture land plot with an area of 96.6 hectares, provided to an LLC specialized in agriculture in the Akhangaran district, through official acquaintances.
During the pre-investigation, it was established that the brokers intended to carry out the business through 3 persons holding the positions of deputy head of the department, head of the department and chief specialist in the Tashkent regional agriculture department, who were also detained.
The director and employee of an LLC in Tashkent region were detained with material evidence when receiving $50 thousand in exchange for registering in the name of the buyer 25 acres of 50 acres of land provided to this LLC on a lease for a period of 9 years for the organization of a parking lot and intensive walnut growing.
A citizen living in the Akhangaran district demanded $100,000 in exchange for obtaining permission through familiar officials to carry out construction work on a plot of 40 acres, registering in the name of a citizen who wants to do business a plot of 20 hectares, previously provided on a lease basis for a period 49 years old cattle farm owned by his mother. He was detained while receiving $30 thousand in advance.
Similar violations were also detected in the Bukhara region. In particular, the head of a farm specialized in horticulture was detained while receiving $30,000 in advance, having agreed to sell to the buyer for $95,000 5.3 hectares of land, previously allocated by the relevant decision of the district governor on a lease basis to this farm for a period of 49 years.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals. An investigation is underway.
