Uzbekistan sends another humanitarian aid shipment to Afghanistan

The humanitarian aid includes 48 tons of flour, 48 tons of wheat, 15,000 liters of vegetable oil, 10,000 cans of canned meat, 24 tons of sugar, 22 tons of pasta products, and 100,000 packets of ready-to-eat packaged noodles.

Today, on April 25, a delegation led by the governor of the Surkhandarya region, Ulugbek Kosimov, set off for the Balkh province of Afghanistan to deliver the next installment of humanitarian aid from the people of Uzbekistan to the brotherly Afghan people.

The humanitarian aid, loaded on a total of 8 trucks, includes 48 tons of flour, 48 tons of wheat, 15,000 liters of vegetable oil, 10,000 cans of canned meat, 24 tons of sugar, 22 tons of pasta products, and 100,000 packets of ready-to-eat packaged noodles.

In this context, a ceremony to hand over humanitarian aid will take place today in Hairatan with the participation of officials from both countries.
