Uzbekistan specialists studying Polish experience in field of cargo transportation control
A delegation of Uzbekistan led by the head of the Transport Control Inspectorate under the Ministry of Transport, Jamshid Karimov, visited Poland.
As part of the visit, a meeting was held with the Director of the Road Transport Department under the Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland, Renata Richter. It discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Transport Control Inspectorate under the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan and the General Inspectorate of Road Transport under the Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland in the field of international road transport, in particular, the introduction of Polish best practices.
Members of the delegation visited inspection points in the city of Grojec and took part in raid activities together with representatives of the General Inspectorate of Polish Road Transport.
The Polish experience of taking into account weight and volume parameters, compliance by drivers with work and rest hours, as well as the process of checking permits for international cargo transportation was studied.
During the visit, negotiations were also held with the head of the company “Infolab Narloch” in the city of Tychy, Przemyslaw Narloch, at which the issue of implementing an investment project for the production of tachographic devices (card reader and Tachospeed information system) that monitor the work and rest schedule of drivers was discussed.
