Honored artist of Uzbekistan Mashrab Kimsanov dies

Mashrab Kimsanov, an honored artist of Uzbekistan, a well-known film actor, died at the age of 69.

Mashrab Kimsanov was born on August 17, 1955. In 1976-1979, he worked as an assistant director at the “Uzbekfilm” film studio. In 1983, he graduated from the acting faculty of “VGIK”.

In 1983-1986, he was an actor of the “Uzbekfilm” film studio, and from 1986, he worked at the “Kinoaktyor” experimental theater-studio under “Uzbekfilm”.

Mashrab Kimsanov played memorable roles in many films such as “Vodillik kelin”, “Olovli yo‘llar”, “Otamdan qolgan dalalar”, “Masxaraboz”, “Umid”, “Zebuzar”, “Hayot mamot”, “Haqiqiy erkaklar ovi”, “Sehrli qalpoqcha”, “Onaginam orzusi”. The artist is also the post-production director of the film “Tog‘lik kuyov” (“Groom from mountain”).

In 1999, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Uzbekistan.
