Individual who attempted to sell a land plot for $400,000 detained in Tashkent region
He was caught red-handed while accepting $40,000 as an advance.
On April 29, employees of the MIA Operative-Investigation Department, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, stopped a crime related to the sale of land in the Zangiata district, Tashkent region.
It is noted that the director of the “Chirchik shagal saralash” enterprise, born in 1985, offered to sell to a client 260 hectares of empty land allocated in the Yukorichirchik district (Tashkent region) for the purpose of “agriculture-livestock husbandry” for $400,000, promising to prepare all documents for money through acquaintances working in cadastre institutions.
He was detained with material evidence while receiving a $40,000 advance.
Based on this fact, the PGO opened a criminal case under Paragraph “a” of Article 168-4 (Fraud on an especially large scale), Paragraph “a” of Article 211-3 (Giving a bribe on an especially large scale) of the Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.
