3,000 Uzbek citizens to be employed in Korean automotive service industry
The Korea Automobile Industry Association has 6,800 enterprises and 48,000 employees. The Koreans stated that there is a need for an additional 3,000 workers per year in this industry and expressed a desire to cooperate with Uzbekistan in this regard.
In Korea, there is a need for 3,000 workers per year in the automobile industry. This was announced at a meeting between the Minister of Employment and Poverty Alleviation Bekzod Musayev and the Chairman of the Automotive Industry Association of the Republic of Korea Kwak Yong Chol.
The dialogue, organized at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea, was also attended by heads of car service associations in the provinces of this country.
At the meeting, the hosts noted the friendly ties between the two countries and expressed satisfaction with the effective cooperation in labor relations.
During the dialogue, it was noted that the Korean Automotive Industry Association has 6,800 enterprises and employs 48,000 employees. The Koreans stated that there is an additional need for 3,000 workers per year in this industry, and they want to cooperate with Uzbekistan in this regard.
Following the meeting, it was decided to quickly include in this new project Uzbek citizens who want to work in the field of vehicle maintenance.
