Race car hit a pedestrian at high speed in Tashkent, he died
On May 9, at about 17:00, a fatal accident occurred in the Sergeli district of Tashkent, the press service of the capital’s traffic police department reported.
24-year-old Kia driver A.Kh., who was driving next to an auto-tuning workshop on Kumarik Street, hit 27-year-old D.K., who died from his injuries on the way to the hospital.
Videos that appeared on social networks show that the drivers of two cars were racing and one of them hit a man who stepped onto the roadway.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code – violation of traffic safety rules resulting in the death of a person (punishable by imprisonment for up to 7 years with deprivation of certain rights).
