Uzbekistan, Russia to build joint gas chemical complex in Bukhara
Uzbekistan and Russia are working on several large joint industrial projects. In particular, it is planned to create a gas chemical complex and a metallurgical cluster, as follows from the materials for the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Tashkent on May 26-27, TASS reports.
“Major industrial projects are being developed, including the construction of a copper processing plant on the basis of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine in the Tashkent region, a gas chemical complex in the Bukhara region and the creation of a metallurgical cluster at the Tebinbulak iron ore deposit,” the documents say.
The agenda of the meeting included issues of further development and deepening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.
