Products of Uzbek leather industry enterprises presented at an international exhibition in Guangzhou
The Consulate General of our country, in order to provide a wide range of opportunities and export potential of the leather industry of Uzbekistan, organized the National stand of Uzbekistan at the 32nd International Exhibition on Shoes & Leather industry-Guangzhou on May 29-31 in Guangzhou.
This year, about 1,000 exhibitors from 20 countries and regions around the world and China took part in the pavilions of the China Import and Export Center in Guangzhou. The exhibition, organized by Top Repute, featured a wide range of components related to advanced shoe making machines, cutting equipment, leather, synthetic leather materials, sewing technology, automated lines, chemical products and raw materials, clothing, 3D equipment – printing, production.
At the Uzbekistan stand, export products produced in our country were widely represented, including raw materials, opportunities for the leather industry and the investment environment, as well as handmade leather products and more.
During the visit, representatives of about 20 Uzbek enterprises in Guangdong province, led by the Deputy Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, got acquainted with new technologies being developed and offered in this industry in China, and held preliminary negotiations with Chinese manufacturers on the implementation of joint projects in Uzbekistan.
During meetings with Gao Feng, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Import and Export of Canton Enterprises (CECOC), and Kong Bin, General Director of LIUCHEN SPORTS TECHNOLOGY, the investment potential and opportunities of the leather industry of Uzbekistan were presented. A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Uzcharmsanoat Association and CECOC. The head of the company LIUCHEN SPORTS TECHNOLOGY was invited to visit Uzbekistan to study investment opportunities and market research.
