ZTE plans to participate in creation of new data centers in Uzbekistan
The company has opened a BPO service center in IT Park and plans to develop its activities.
The Chinese company ZTE plans to expand its presence in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Digital Technologies says.
Senior Vice President of the company, Mei Zhonghua, met with Minister Sherzod Shermatov. The parties discussed the activities of the remote business outsourcing (BPO) center of ZTE opened in IT Park and voiced proposals for expanding its operations in the near future.
The sides also touched upon the topic of opening data centers in Uzbekistan. A special mention was made of the “green” data processing center project by DataVolt, whose construction started in May.
Additionally, Sherzod Shermatov and Mei Zhonghua exchanged views on the development of telecom infrastructure. The parties plan to expand cooperation in the fields of mobile and wired internet, improve communication quality, and provide connectivity to remote settlements.
