Security forces detain 45 migrant workers from Uzbekistan in Voronezh
The police, together with the Russian Guard, checked construction sites in the Kominternovsky district of Voronezh and discovered violations of migration legislation, as a result of which 45 citizens of Uzbekistan were detained, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Regional MIA reported.
In the video provided by police, several workers sit on the ground while masked men armed with rifles line up another group of workers. One of the police officers says, “sit on the chairs”, although there are no chairs in the video.
The report notes that 12 people were taken to the police station to check documents required for foreign citizens working in Russia.
Subsequently, 12 administrative protocols were drawn up against them under Part 1 of Article 18.10 of the Administrative Responsibility Code of the Russian Federation. Employees also check the employer.
