Shavkat Mirziyoyev holds talks with Malaysian Prime Minister
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a phone conversation with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
The parties discussed the further development of Uzbek-Malaysian cooperation in the context of the agreements reached during the Malaysian Prime Minister's visit to Uzbekistan in May of this year.
"On May 29, the first fruitful meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Putrajaya. The Uzbek-Malaysian Business Council was established," the presidential press service said.
The sides also paid special attention to advancing cooperation projects among leading companies in such industries as manufacturing, green energy, petrochemicals, electrical engineering, and other sectors.
